Your nightly dreams - a huge (and much overlooked) resource

In dreams, what happens is pure reality. It's what we experience and sense right there. What if we could actively, and to a much greater extent, use our dreams - to learn important things about ourselves and about life? What if we could use our dreams to solve our big challenges or make important decisions?

In this lecture, you will be introduced to all the things you can do with your dreams based on the vast amount of research we have today. Dreams, which the speaker Michael Rohde calls our dormant, unconscious intelligence. Research has shown that we gain higher self-awareness, higher self-esteem, and better relationships with others when we tune in and try to understand why we dream the way we do. The dream state is the most creative brain state we have, and many things would not be in this world if it weren't for (remembered) dreams. As the rest of the pageant testifies, dreams are a creative resource for all forms of art. And they are also a creative resource when it comes to input on what we deep down are most concerned with, a good and joyful life. In the lecture you will also learn how to become much better at remembering your dreams (we all dream for 2 hours every night).

Michael Rohde is a researcher and author on dreams. He is an inspiring and award-winning (Berlingske Talent 100) speaker when it comes to all the things we miss out on by not actively using our dreams.
